Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour €10,000 High Roller, held at Casino Barcelona, has now reached it’s conclusion.

A total of 475 entries were made to the event, making for a prize pool of €4,607,500. Of those, 223 players returned for Day 2, including those who late registered before the day began. Only 40 players remain in contention as the tournament heads into the third and final day.

The next player to be eliminated will receive €19,350 in prize money. First place is set to walk away with €910,400.

Vlad Darie of Romania is the Day 2 leader with 1,460,000 in chips. Darie has $2,493,026 in recorded live winnings and will be looking to add to that with a huge score on Day 3.

Close behind in second place is Simone Andrian of Italy with 1,335,000. Andrian has a WSOP bracelet to his name and took down the PokerStars Summer Festival Malta Main Event earlier this year for €153,610.

Currently in third place is Francisco Benitez of Uruguay, who is the only other player to end the day with over 1,000,000 chips. Benitez is an EPT Barcelona veteran. He took down two titles in 2022 within the space of two days and will be looking to add another to his collection this year.

Tony Lin of China ended the day in fourth place and Razvan Belea sits in fifth.

Arthur Conan found himself all in and at risk preflop versus Razvan Belea who had a covering stack.

Arthur Conan: AQ
Razvan Belea: KJ

Conan was initially ahead but the 987 flop gave Belea a plethora of outs in the form of two overcards and a flush draw. Belea hit the flush on the Q turn, leaving Conan drawing dead. The 9 river changed nothing and Conan's run came to an end while Belea took down a nice pot.
