Ezequiel Waigel was seen taking in the stack of Majid Nadeem after the latter got the last of his stack in. The cards and board were already out and the dealer had shipped the pot to Waigel.
Majid Nadeem: A♦J♥
Ezequiel Waigel: A♥Q♥
The board had run out 6♦3♦2♣K♣A♣ and Waigel had the better pair of aces with a queen kicker to send Nadeem to the rail just before the third break of the day.
Kelvin Kerber shoved for his last 37,000 from the hijack and action folded to Daniel Smiljkovic in the big blind, who asked for a count and called to put Kerber at risk.
Kelvin Kerber: 7♦6♦
Daniel Smiljkovic: A♠3♣
The Q♣2♥6♥ flop put Kerber in the lead with a pair of sixes, but the A♦ turn left him drawing slim after Smiljkovic paired his ace.
The A♥ river improved Smiljkovic to trip aces and Kerber wished his tablemates good luck as he exited the tournament area.
Robert Kaggerud opened from the hijack to 12,000 and was called by Gary Miller in the cutoff. From the small blind, Felipe Germano took a few seconds and shoved for 121,000 chips. In the big blind, Vlado Banicevic went into the tank and raised all in for 160,000 chips. Kaggerud and Miller quickly folded.
Felipe Germano: K♣J♣
Vlado Banicevic: 9♣9♠
Germano found a flush draw on the flop 2♣10♠4♣. However, it wasn't completed with the turn 3♠ nor the river A♥, and Germano was eliminated.
On the very next hand, Miller raised from the hijack to 12,000. In the cutoff, Julien Mariani, one of the shortest stack of the field, jammed for 45,000 chips. Miller eventually called.
Julien Mariani: K♥K♣
Gary Miller: 10♥8♥
A ten came on the flop 10♣A♠J♥ to give a pair to Miller. But Mariani's kings held on the turn 5♣ and the river 2♦, so he doubled up.
Viktor Jensen shoved his last 51,000 from under the gun before Ricardo Graells shoved from middle position with 58,000. The rest of the table got out of the way and action was heads up with Jensen at risk.
Viktor Jensen: A♣8♥
Ricardo Graells: 8♦8♠
The board ran out 2♣7♦10♦3♦6♥ and Graells held on with pocket eights to send Jensen to the rail.
