Lodden Continues to Dominate

Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden has coolly amassed an impressive chip stack by chopping away at small pots, and by making a number of difficult, but correct calls.

Lodden entered a three-way pot that was raised to 800 preflop by an opponent in middle position; Lodden called from the button and was accompanied by the small blind. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and all three players checked.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and the small blind led out for 1,800. The preflop raiser folded and Lodden made the call. The last card off the deck was the {9-Diamonds} and the small blind stabbed at the pot again, this time for 2,200. Lodden wasted no time making the call, and his opponent, shaking his head, could only produce ace high. Lodden tabled {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and raked in another pot, improving his chip stack to just over 50,000.

He's not quite the overall leader, but he is clearly in the driver's seat at his own table.
