Berglund Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Lukas Berglund
Lukas Berglund

Benny Spindler opened for 8,000 from late position, and Lukas Berglund three bet the small blind to 22,000. Frederik Jensen in the big blind shoved all in for over 130,000, and Spindler folded. Berglund thought for a bit, and called all in for a little less than Jensen had.

Jensen: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Berglund: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop was low but not good enough for Berglund, and the {9-Spades} on the turn and {4-Clubs} on the river were of no help either. Berglund eliminated, Jensen with a bit more comfortable stack.

Bonavena Shoves

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Salvatore Bonavena and Mustapha Kanit checked the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, and then Philip Sternheimer bet 14,000. Ihar Soika folded, and then Bonavena check-raised all in for 86,000. Kanit folded, and then Sternheimer followed suit, and Bonavena won the pot.

Muehloecker Jams from the Button

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

From under the gun, Adam Levy raised to 8,000. Toby Lewis called from the next seat, and then last year's defending champion, Thomas Muehloecker, reraisd all in for 60,500 on the button. The blinds folded, and then both Levy and Lewis folded, to give Muehloecker the pot.

Michiel Brummelhuis Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Michiel Brummelhuis
Michiel Brummelhuis

Michiel Brummelhuis lost most of his stack in a kings versus aces situation. Nicolas Chouity was the one holding the aces, the EPT Monte Carlo winner plays a stack of just over 500,000 ever since.

Brummelhuis still had some chips left after that, but Ami Barer took those in a blind battle not much later. Brummelhuis had {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} in that hand, and was up against Barer's {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The {6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{A-Spades} board wasn't doing Brummelhuis any good, and he was out of the tournament. "Ok, that was fun" the former November Nine said with a somewhat sarcastic voice.

Barer's and Chouity's table mate Aku Joentausta has a lot of chips as well, the Fin is seated out of position against Chouity with 453,000.

Jason Mo Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In a button (Mo) versus small blind (Barer) situation, the two players got their chips in before the flop. Mo had the worst of it with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, as he was up against Barer's {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

The {9-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs} board was full of clubs, but that made zero difference for these two. Mo, who started the hand short, eliminated.
