Altergott Jumps into Second

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier raised from the cutoff to 40,000 and Max Altergott called from the button. Fabian Quoss called from the small blind and Scott Seiver did so as well from the big.

The flop brought {K-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} and both blind checked to Mercier who bet 72,000. Altergott raised it up to 186,000 and all three his opponents folded. Altergott picked up a serious pot and is now very close to a two-million chip stack.
