Grinding With The Grinder

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi has been constantly climbing up the chip counts today and we decided to hang around him for a few hands to see how Mizrachi has been doing it.

Hand 1: Ben Martin opened from the small blind to 1,100 and Mizrachi called in the big blind. Martin then check-folded to a 1,300 bet from Mizrachi on a {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop.

Hand 2: Martin opened to 1,100 from the button, but quickly folded when Mizrachi three-bet to 2,500 from the small blind.

Hand 3: Mizrachi had the button and saw the action fold around to him. He raised to 1,325. Paul Jenkinson three-bet to 3,200 from the small blind and Mizrachi tossed in the extra chips to call.

The {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop witnessed a continuation bet of 3,200 from Jenkinson and a call from "The Grinder." Jenkinson then checked the {9-Clubs} turn and folded when Mizrachi bet 5,200.

Hand 4: Mizrachi opened to 1,325 from the cutoff when the action passed around to him. Patrick Sacrispeyre defended his big blind by calling. Sacrispeyre then check-called a 1,300 bet from Mizrachi. The dealer put the {5-Hearts} into play on the turn and Sacrispeyre checked again, but when Mizrachi bet 3,900 Sacrispeyre check-raised to 8,000. Mizrachi dwelled on his decision for 30 seconds before flicking his cards back to the dealer. Sacrispeyre showed Mizrachi, and the rest of the table, the {8-Diamonds}.

Hand 5: Martin opened to 1,300 and Mizrachi called from the next seat over. Sacrispeyre called in the small blind and it was three-handed to the {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop. It was checked over to Martin who bet 3,100. Both of Martin's opponents called. Theat was the last of the betting action as the trio checked the {10-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river, Martin winning when he showed the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

Mizrachi now has 149,000 chips.
