Day 2 Started
Welcome to Day 2 of the King's of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Park Hotel located in the heart of the Estonian capital.
Players traveled from near and far to play in the Main Event with 241 entrants joining the field on Day 1. This is just six entrants shy of a Kings of Tallinn Main Event record of 247 entrants established last year. This year's Main Event will easily establish a new record with re-entries and late-registration allowed until the start of Day 2.
A total of 156 players survived yesterday's action with Finland's Feras Abid leading the way to start the day with a huge stack of 137,700 in chips. Behind him are Estonia's Tonis Viik in second place with 119,000 and Finland's Henri Vaisanen in third place with 118,300.
Also well in the mix is one of Europe's most successful poker players Juha Helppi bringing forth a healthy stack of 112,200 in chips. Additionally, three Team OlyBet members bagged chips yesterday including Dmitrijs Meless (96,000), Carmen-Elina Vist (55,900) and Raigo Aasmaa (34,600).
Day 2 of the Main Event will kick off at 12 p.m. local time with blinds at 400/800 and an ante of 100. We will have updated chip counts for all of the players before the action resumes. Similar to yesterday, Day 2 will play out seven 60-minute blind levels with 15-minute breaks scheduled after every two blind levels.

Dozens of players gathered in hopes of turning €10 into a Kings of Tallinn Main Event seat worth €1,100. How it worked was 10 players sat down and were all-in preflop. The winner of the hand went into the final round along with anyone that wanted to pony-up €100.
The final round worked the same with 10 players all-in preflop. However, the winner this time earned himself a last minute Main Event seat. It would be a true Cinderella story if he can turn €10 to a Main Event victory.

The players have been asked to shuffle up and deal. The unofficial count of players is now up to 260 players and we should have a final count shortly.
It didn't take long for the first elimination to take place. Over on Table 7. Matis Martens opened and was called by Lukas Rutkauskas.
Rene Eller, who had about nine big blinds before the hand, jammed all-in with ace-queen for under 10,000. Martens called with ace-jack and Rutkauskas tossed his hand in the muck.
Although Metsla was ahead before the flop, a jack appeared on the board to send him to the rail very early on Day 2.
On the same table Kristian Matias Zitting and Samir Akram Mawlod, both with short stacks, hit the rail quickly after.
Martens had the chip lead after the hand, but this can change quickly with many of the players with smaller stacks sharing before the start of the day that they were looking to double up or call it an early day.

At the end of yesterday players had the option of voiding their stacks if they weren't happy with the amount of chips they bagged and re-enter for €1,100 with a fresh stack.
Finland's Arttu Markus Isakka and Estonia's Tonu Koiv both voided their small stacks of 4,900 and 9,500 respectfully and started today with 30,000 in chips.
