Akkari Doubles Giuzzi

Andre Akkari has been the most active player at his table since the start of the day. He's often the first one in the pot and raising the action. On this hand, Akkari raised to 2,800 before Ezequiel Giuzzi moved all in for approximately 30,000. Action got back around to Akkari and he immediately called, tabling {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}. Giuzzi held {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades} and was racing for his tournament.

The flop hit Akkari when it came {A-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. The turn was the {J-Hearts}, putting Giuzzi one step closer to elimination. But then, the river hit the {8-Clubs} and put Giuzzi right back into his seat.

Akkari shipped over the chips, slipping back down to 31,000.

A few hands later, Rosario was all in again, this time with {A-?} {Q-?}. The big blind, Marta Saucedo, made the call with {10-?} {2-?}. Rosario would see here tournament life end after the dealer ran out the board {A-?} {K-?} {10-?} {2-?} {5-?}.
