Welcome back to the Costao de Santinho for day two of the PokerStars.net LAPT Florianopolis Main Event!
The original 356 players that handed over R$5,000 to take part in the inaugural event here in Florianopolis have been whittled down to just 183.
Matthias Habernig slept sound last night after bagging the most chips at the end of the day with an accumulated 130,350 mainly courtesy of a set-over-set situation. Online Qualifier David Bortnik sits next with 108,800 as Felipe Ramos (105,900), Kwang Ho Han (104,125) and Mario Mascioto (102,975) round out those with a six-figure chip stack.
Team PokerStars Pros Angel Guillen (75,100), Veronica Dabul (35,225) and Jorge Arias (22,050) are still in contention, but it is anyone's tournament to win - especially when R$435,000 is on offer for first prize!
Play is set to begin at 12:00pm BRT, so stay tuned to PokerNews for the exclusive coverage of every flopped straight, turned set and rivered flush from the 2010 LAPT Florianopolis Main Event!
