Logozinskii had and was up against Ovcharenko's . The river couldn't change a thing and the tournament lost a strong player in Pavel Logozinskii.
We spotted Christos Leantzis on the rail, talking to someone after he had just been eliminated. The dealer called the floor over to indicate a player had been eliminated, and we walked over to the Cypriot while someone at the table was still stacking his newly found chips.
Leantzis told us that someone under the gun had opened, and that he had shoved with pocket tens. When it was time for a showdown, Leantzis turned out to be in a race situation. His tens were up against .
Leantzis smiled while he told us his opponent hit an ace and king on the flop. Bad luck for Lantzis, the number ten on the Cyprus all time money list.
Over on table seven we saw Andrei Nikonov bet out 5,000 on , and Alexander Kostylev on the button raised it up to 15,000. Nikonov squeezed his eyes a bit, thought about it, and made the call.
Both players continued to check the on the turn, and the dealer delivered the as river. Nikonov now bet out 17,000 and Kostylev instantly called.
Nikonov tabled , showing he missed his open ended straight draw. Kostylev proudly showed his , and took it down.
The only lady entering this event, Nataliya Iakovleva, has just been eliminated from the tournament. She got the chips in before the flop with , and she was up against the of Oleksandr Zlotnik and of Igor Ovcharenko.
The on the flop was about as good as it could get for Iakovleva, without hitting something. After the flop she had a 74,31% chance of winning the hand, while both her opponents had just a 25,69% chance of chopping it. She needed any heart, jack, ten, or queen for the win, or running kings or runner runner king and queen for the split pot.
After the hit the turn, she only had 19,05% chance to out right win the pot left, while she had a 9,52% chance of chopping it.
The on the river was a blank though, resulting in an elimination for Iakovleva and a chop for both other players. Ovcharenko is doing very well for himself, he's playing over 440,000 in chips.
The winner will walk away with over a $100,000 tomorrow. Making the final table guarantees you $10,845, 27 players will get a minimum cash here in Cyprus of $3,700. The $433,445 prize pool will be divided as followed:
Suleyman Ciftsuren has been eliminated from the tournament. By the time we came checking what was going on at table seven, he was already drawing dead. He had no way of knowing at that time though.
With on the table it was Jorn Walthaus who had a bet out. Ciftsure was already all in at the time. After some thinking we saw Viacheslav Igin move all in from the small blind. Walthaus wasn't happy, and he folded with some reluctance after about ten seconds of thinking.
Ciftsure had and there wasn't a card in the deck that could save him. Igin had for a flopped set of fives, and the couldn't spoil his party.
It's really tough to count Maksym Panyak's chips, as he has towers of different heights, and he has a lot of them. Just now we saw Dzmitry Urbanovich get up from the table, and again it was Panyak who was getting the chips. We're unsure at this point what happened, but we do know Panyak has a whole lot of chips.
Viacheslav Igin opened for 5,500 under the gun and Suleyman Ciftsuren three bet to 12,000 from the cutoff. Alexsandr Nemtcov on the button shoved all in for 43,600 and Igin folded. Ciftsuren made the call and there was another serious showdown.
Ciftsuren:
Nemtcov:
The flop was good for Nemtcov, and the on the turn and on the river were no thread. Double up for Nemtcov, while Ciftsure is struggling now.
