Elijah Berg limped on the button and Jason Mercier raised to 2,300 from the big blind.
Berg called and the flop came . Mercier bet 3,300 and Berg went all in for about 10,000 more. Mercier called and tabled , leading Berg's . The turn card gave Berg a few extra outs. "That's an exciting one," he said. "Yeah, let's see a face card," Mercier replied. He got what he wanted as the landed on the river and Elijah Berg is eliminated.

Luis Vazquez and Team PokerStars Pro Greg Debora found all of the money in the middle on a board of . Both players held a pair of nines, but Vazquez had the better of it. He held to Debora's .
After a pause for the camera crew to get set up and film everything, the river card was dealt. The hit the felt on the end of the board and Debora couldn't get lucky. He was eliminated while Vazquez earned his third bounty. He's now busted everyone at the table and is heads up with Peter Jetten. Jetten though has the chip lead with 80,000 to Vazquez's 45,000.
Another note about this table is that because they only began five handed instead of six handed, the winner will reach the final table with 125,000 chips and not 150,000 like all the other tables. This will put them at a slight disadvantage, but the tournament staff feels this is the best way to even things out as they only had to go through a table of five and not six.
From the button, Peter Jetten made it 2,500 to go. Luis Vazquez put the chips in to see a flop. After the flop came down , Vazquez checked to Jetten, who fired a continuation bet of 3,000. Quickly, Vazquez cut out two stacks of chips for a min-raise to 6,000. Jetten made the call.
The turn card was the and Vazquez fired 6,000. Jetten called again and the landed on the river. Vazquez checked and Jetten took a moment before firing 13,000. Vazquez took about five seconds to make the call and then watched as Jetten tabled the for a busted straight draw. Vazquez turned up the for two pair, fives and fours, and scooped in the pot.
Vazquez has now taken over the lead with 86,000 to Jetten's 39,000.
Matt Glantz and Scott Seiver saw the turn on a board of when all the money went in. Seiver held the for two pair, queens and eights. Glantz had him with the for trip eights. The river produced the and wasn't the miracle Seiver needed. Glantz busted him from the tournament and will be moving on to the final table.
Shawn Buchanan checked from the big blind after Steve Sung limped the button. The flop came down and Buchanan checked. Sung fired 1,500 and then Buchanan check-raised to 3,500. Sung then made it 6,500. Buchanan asked how much Sung had left (about 17,000) and then moved a bunch of chips out to put him all in. Sung called.
Both players held the same hand, pair of aces and a deuce kicker. Buchanan held the to Sung's . Buchanan was freerolling to a club flush and this wasn't the first time he was freerolling against Sung. Last time, the freeroll didn't come through, but this time the hit the turn and ended things for Sung. The river completed the board with the and Buchanan is moving on to the final table.
Luis Vazquez raised to 3,000 on the button and Peter Jetten made it 8,000 to play from the big blind. Vazquez shoved and Jetten called all in for 36,025 with , leading Vazquez's .
