Joseph Cheong has been playing with a short stack for quite some time so it was no surprise he put in a raise to 1,025 when action folded to him on the button. Eric Froehlich was in the small blind and decided to come along for the ride.
The flop came down and it went check-check. When the appeared on the turn, Froehlich led out for 1,225 and Cheong quickly folded. Froehlich is back up to 42,000 while Cheong dropped to just 10,000.
With about 10,000 in the middle and a board reading , Chris Moneymaker checked to Richard Toth who quickly bet 3,525. Moneymaker tossed in a single 5,000 blue chip to make the call and Toth instantly mucked his cards. Moneymaker did not show his own hand as he raked in the pot and increased his stack to around 50,000. Toth is down to 15,000.
Players are now on a 15 minute break.

Our last check on November Niner Joseph Cheong had him down around 10,000 chips, but it appears he's a bit worse off than that now. Cheong's chair is empty, his chips are missing, and he is presumed busto.
David "Doc" Sands was under the gun and raised to 1,350. Action folded to the player in the cutoff and he put in a raise to 4,200. Sands gathered the rest of his chips and pushed them forward, amounting to a raise of 15,175 more. The cutoff made the call and the cards were turned up:

Sands was firmly in the lead with his pocket rockets and the flop kept him there. The turn and river changed nothing and Sands doubled to around 40,000.
A player in middle position raised to 1,500 and action folded to Matt Affleck in the small blind. He called the raise as did the player in the big blind and three players saw the flop.
It checked around to the on the turn and Affleck bet out 3,000. The big blind called while the middle position player got out of the way. Affleck then bet 6,000 after the dealer burned and put the on the river. The big blind didn't take long to fold and Affleck took down the pot. He is up to 26,000.
