It's Time for Day 4!
Welcome back for Day 4 of the 2010 PokerStars.net NAPT Los Angeles Main Event! Only 19 players remain from a starting field that boasted more than 700 players. Out of those 19 remaining, there's plenty of big names left in the field.
Team PokerStars is represented by not one, not two, but three players! Wearing the Team Canada patch is Anh Van Nguyen. Jason Mercier sports the Team USA patch and then George Lind III is rocking the Team Online badge. Out of those three, Mercier has the most chips with 2.15 million. That's good enough for third place overall.
Outside of those three, you may recognize the name Michael Binger. He's still left as well with over two million in chips. Binger sits in fourth place overall ahead of Jacob Toole. Then right behind Toole is Joe Tehan.
Leading them all is Chris DeMaci. He's got a whopping, eye-popping 3.783 million in chips! DeMaci picked up aces numerous times yesterday and sent shorter-stacked players to the rail. We'll see if his run good continues today.
Play kicks off at 1:00 PM PST here at The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California. The plan to play until only eight players remain and the official final table has been set. That could be a few hours or several. Stay tuned for all of the action right here on PokerNews!
