Welcome to the 2011 North American Poker Tour Mohegan Sun $10,000 High Roller Bounty Shootout. Kicking off first is Flight A, which consists of the first four eight-handed tables as you can see below in the posted table and seat draw. Originally, this event was capped at 81 players, but it looks like that cap has been decreased to 72 players. Four of the tables will be in action on this flight and the second flight will have the remaining five tables. The second flight is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST.
This flight's feature table consists of a few big names. Team PokerStars Pros Vanessa Rousso (USA) and David Williams (USA) are both on the feature table. They'll be joined by Dwyte Pilgrim and Michael Pesek, among a few others. We all know Williams and Pilgrim like to chat a bit at the table, so it should make for some good coverage.
Also in action early on are Matt Glantz, Scott Seiver, Melanie Weisner, Dan O'Brien, Eugene Katchalov and Nick Schulman. It's interesting that back in the $100,000 Super High Roller at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Schulman and Katchlov both made the final table and finished in the top four. What makes it so interesting is that they are best friends, but had to play against each other. Here again today, they're starting at the table table and could be in line to knock one another out.
Play is scheduled to start up shortly, but we're still waiting on a few of the players to arrive. Poker players aren't the most punctual bunch of people on the planet, but be sure to stay tuned as the action will kick off shortly!

Over on the feature table, Eric Wasserson raised to 500 before Michael Pesek reraised to 1,600. Action folded back around to Wasserson and he reraised to 4,300. Pesek went into the tank and then five-bet to 7,800. Wasserson folded and Pesek won the pot.
From under the gun, Tony Vo limped in with a dead big blind as Steven Kelly still hasn't shown up. Action then folded to Michael DeGilio in the hijack seat and he raised to 725. Curt Kohlberg called from the cutoff seat and Vo also called.
The flop came down and Vo checked. DeGilio bet 1,650 and Kohlberg folded. Vo made the call.
The turn brought the and Vo checked. DeGilio bet 3,350 and Vo mucked his hand.

The structure for the High Roller Bounty Shootout has been reworked a bit and is faster that it has been before. The levels are only 30 minutes in length for the first round and as you can see by the blind jump, some levels have been removed. Combine this with the $2,000 bounty on everyone's head and the play should go pretty quick.
Dwyte Pilgrim was all in preflop with the . Vanessa Rousso was his opponent with the . The board ran out and Pilgrim doubled up.
