Rousso Doesn't Call Negreanu's Shove

Vanessa Rousso was on the button and raised to 25,000 with the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Daniel Negreanu was in the small blind and looked down at the {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. He moved all in for 164,000. After Giovanni Safina folded from the big blind, Rousso wanted verification on the price she had to call.

"What would yo do if you were me?" asked Rousso.

"If I was in your shoes? I'd beat me into the pot!" responded Negreanu.

Eventually, she folded her hand after a series of questions she asked Negreanu.

Miracle Turn Card for Negreanu

That's the one!
That's the one!
Daniel Negreanu raised to 22,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Giovanni Safina reraised to 36,000 with the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Negreanu was in the cutoff and Safina on the button. Negreanu went all in and Safina called.

"Uh oh," said Negreanu immediately.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Safina stayed in the led. The turn brought the help Negreanu needed when the {Q-Diamonds} hit the board. The river was the {3-Spades} and Safina couldn't pull off the resuck.

Negreanu doubled to get back in the game with the lucky turn card.

Benyamine Under-reps His Hand

Giovanni Safina raised to 23,000 with the {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and David Benyamine called with a dominating hand, the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. Yevgeniy Timoshenko ws in the big blind with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and gave a nice, long thought to his decision. After a little bit, Timoshenko reraised to 73,000, trying to squeeze out the other two players.

Action went back to Safina and he folded his hand. Benyamine under-repped his hand well up until this point and reraised all in. Timoshenko easily folded his hand.
