Get Ready for the PAPC €10,200 Championship Event

It's another huge day for the Patrik Antonius Poker Challenge (PAPC) at the Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park. Not only will the PAPC €1,500 Main Event play down to an eight-man final table but the two-day PAPC €10,200 Championship Event is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. EEST.

The Championship Event will be just the third five-figure buy-in event in Estonian history with the second one taking place earlier this week after Pauli Ayras won the PAPC €25,000 High Roller for €163,300. After his win, Ayras shared he would likely be one of the players also participating in the Championship Event.

There are many high stakes players in attendance at the PAPC. However, due to the two player's parties last night and the plethora of high-stakes cash games running into the morning, it remains to be seen which of them enter today's big event.

The tournament features an eight-max structure until there are twelve players remaining when the tournament transforms to a six-max structure. Players start off with a healthy stack of 40,000 in chips. Unlimited re-entries are allowed during the late registration period, which will close after the seventh blind level.

Blind levels will be 20-minutes for the first seven levels. The structure becomes deeper after late-registration is closed with blind levels increasing every 30 minutes.
