Garland Takes from Brammer

Level 5 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On a river of {2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} Andrew Garland bet 75,000 into a pot of about 80,000. His opponent was 2017 bracelet-winner Chris Brammer who thought for a while, re-checking his cards before folding.

Brammer is down from his peak of just under 200,000, while Garland moves even further ahead as he looks to book his spot in Day 2 tomorrow.

Van Wesemael Sends a Player to the Rail

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player raised all in from early position for 55,000. It folded to Sander van Wesemael in late position and he three-bet all in over the top. The remaining players all folded.

Sander van Wesemael: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
All-in Player: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

There was an ace in the window, and no further drama for the Dutchman, as the board came {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and he improved his stack to over 100,000.

Triple Elimination Boosts Morgan

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

William Webster moved all in for 12,000 from under the gun. Jake Cully three-bet all in for 40,000 from late position. Jack Sandford four-bet all in from the small blind for 140,000.

All that was left was for big-stack Daniel Morgan to call in the big blind and put three players at risk.

William Webster: {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Jake Cully: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Jack Sandford: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Daniel Morgan: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Morgan was ahead, but the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} opened up a world of outs for both Webster and Cully. The turn {q-Clubs} gave Cully additional flush outs but the river {3-Spades} was a brick, with Morgan's hand holding up to send three players to the rail.
