"All in and a call on Table 2!"

We rushed to the table to see that Charles Furey was all in and at risk against Thomas Miller. For some reason, neither player turned their cards over, and the dealer completed the board {q-Diamonds}, {4-Hearts}.

Finally, when a tournament staff member arrived, Miller turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks. It was Furey's turn to turn his hand over, and he spiked {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} on the felt, giving a fist pump. Furey doubled to over 180,000, while Miller is now on life support with only 47,500.

Boeken Doubles

Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken was all in from the small blind for approximately 70,000 with the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. He was against Brent Sheirbon from the big blind holding a dominating {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The flop gave Boeken the lead when the {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} fell. The turn {5-Clubs} and river {10-Spades} kept him there, allowing Boeken to double up.

Inselberg Out

From middle position, Jesus Sanchez raised to 11,000. David Inselberg reraised all in for around 70,000 from the big blind and Sanchez made the call. Inselberg was all in and at risk with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Sanchez held the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for two suited overcards.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Sanchez took the lead with a pair of jacks. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and river the {Q-Diamonds}. Inselberg was left second best in this one and headed to the rail just a few spots short of a cash.

Bubble Time

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The tournament is down to 161 players. With 160 cashing, that means the event is officially on the bubble.

"Oh, No!"

After a raise and a call pre flop, Ruben Visser and Roberto Bermejo saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}. Bermejo, the original raiser, led for 8,000, and Visser called. The turn was the {j-Clubs}, and Bermejo tossed out another 8,000. Visser raised to 28,000, and Bermejo tank-called.

The river was the {3-Hearts}, and Bermejo slowed down, checking to Visser who fired 30,000. Bermejo thought for a moment, then moved all in for about 45,000. Visser, thinking he was beat, unhappily tossed in the extra 15,000, and Bermejo turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a pair of kings. Visser opened up {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, eliminating Bermejo.

"Oh, Nooooooooooo!" Bermejo yelped, putting his hands over his face.

Bermejo sat in shock for a minute or two, then finally got up out of his chair and left the tournament area.

We're in the Money?

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A little while ago, the tournament director announced that the tournament field was down to 161 players, meaning it was time for the bubble. There was a couple of all ins, but no one busted in any of the hands. After all the hands were completed, the tournament director and staff recounted the field. It was then announced that everyone remaining was in the money as 160 players remained. Magic.

Garcia Beats Boeken

From the hijack seat, Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken raised to 8,000. Spanish professional golfer Sergio Garcia made the call on the button and the flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Boeken checked and Garcia bet 16,500. Boeken called.

The turn was the {A-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {7-Clubs} fall on the river. Both checked again.

Boeken announced that he had a king and went to roll over his hand, briefly flashing the {K-Spades}. Before he could turn his hand fully over, Garcia tabled the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of aces and then Boeken mucked his hand without revealing all of it.
