Danchev Rivers Wheel Against Micka's Set

Joel Micka had the button. He raised to 200,000 only to have Dimitar Danchev come over the top for 525,000 total. Jerry Wong folded his big blind and Micka called.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Danchev continued for 525,000. Micka flat called and the turn brought the {3-Spades}. Danchev slowed down and tapped the table which prompted Micka to move 1.125 million into the middle. Danchev tanked for about a minute before calling.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and the action went check-check. Micka showed {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a flopped set of deuces but it was the second best hand behind Danchev's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for the wheel. After this pot the two are now very close in chips.

Wong Gets There

Dimitar Danchev opened to 200,000 on the button with {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Jerry Wong three-bet to 505,000 with {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} from the small blind. Joel Micka called from the big blind with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Danchev folded, and the flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Wong bet 475,000, which Micka quickly called. The {Q-Diamonds} followed on the turn which both players checked, landing the {10-Clubs} on the river. Wong fired 800,000 and Micka called after about five seconds, only to see his pair of nines was beat on the river by Wong's two pair.
