Qu Holds Against Two Outs

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Boyuan Qu had 5,200 in front of him when we got to his table, which looked like a check-raise as the pot had 4,500 or so in it. Qu was in early position on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, and Qu's opponent a couple of seats over slid in 11,000. Qu responded with an all-in shove for 18,900, and his opponent called.

Qu: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Qu just needed to fade an ace and did so as the {k-Spades} and {5-Spades} hit.

Park Over Yotsushika

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With about 4,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Jason Park checked from under the gun to his lone opponent, recent High Roller runner-up Kazuhiko Yotsushika, who was next to act. Yotsushika checked behind.

The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Park bet 2,500. Yotsushika called.

The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and Park bet once more, 6,000 this time. After some thought, Yotsushika called and Park quickly tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for top two pair. Yotsushika sent his cards into the muck and Park took the chips.
