Ramdin Eliminates Snider

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Bradley Snider shoved for his last 17,400 and got called by the cutoff. Victor Ramdin came along as well in the big blind, and the board rolled out {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} with Ramdin and the cutoff checking down until Ramdin fired 15,000 on the end. The cutoff mucked, and Ramdin flicked in {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a backdoor straight. Snider turned over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and took his leave.

John Myung Eliminated by Matt Affleck

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Matt Affleck raised to 5,500 from the button, John Myung three-bet shoved from the big blind for 45,700, and Affleck mulled it over for a bit before he called.

Affleck: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Myung: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board came down {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Clubs}, no help to Myung, securing the pot for Affleck.

Sangannagari Busts Wantman

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Sridhar Sangannagari opened for a raise to 5,500 under the gun and then called the jam of Matthew Wantman, who had about 50,000 on the button.

Sangannagari: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Wantman: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop was about as bad as possible for Wantman without pairing Sangannagari as he now had picked up a pile of outs with a gutter and a double-pairing of the board. The {3-Hearts} turn was one of the safe cards for Wantman, but an {a-Diamonds} river sent him to bustoville.

Snider Finds a Double

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Bradley Snider shoved all in for his last 33,000 or so and got a call from an opponent in the small blind.

Snider: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Small blind: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The board came {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, so Snider had a ton of cards to dodge to the river. It was a {6-Spades} though, and he doubled.

Smyth Crushing

Peter Smyth and some familiar faces
Peter Smyth and some familiar faces

Michael Gagliano opened to 6,000 in the cutoff and saw Peter Smyth go to 20,000 in the big blind. Gagliano made it 47,000 to go. Smyth asked for a count of the raise and then fired out a reraise with a pile of T5,000 chips that looked to be around 70,000. Gagliano mucked quickly to the five-bet.

The next hand, after unknown preflop action, Smyth bet 8,000 from the small blind on a flop of {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} against big blind Randy Lew. Lew called but then quickly mucked to an all-in shove of effectively about 25,000 on the {q-Diamonds} turn.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Vamplew bet 28,000. Gulino called.

Vamplew tabled {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for top two pair, Gulino mucked, and Vamplew won the pot.
