Royal Flush (Again)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

It's the second Royal Flush in three days at the King's Cup here in Rozvadov. This time Uwe Mauerhoff was the holder, his {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} beat {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} on a {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} board to double up his short stack.

Manousos Doubles Through Siebroth; Busts Him Moments Later

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Georgios Manousos
Georgios Manousos

Georgios Manousos is sitting on three-quarters of a million in chips and was more than happy to tell us how he came by them.

Manousos raised to 18,000 preflop from the hijack with {J-}{J-} and Marc Siebroth made it 51,000 in the small blind. Manousos four-bet to 96,000 and Siebroth moved all in. Manousos called and found himself up against {A-Spades}{4-Spades} and the board bricked out completely.

Siebroth was left with around 130,000 and it was only a few hands later that Manousos finished off his opponent with {A-}{9-} against {A-}{J-} - catching a nine on the river.

Marc Siebroth

Marc Siebroth is, as you'd expect the chip leader to be, very active.

First he doubled up Pavel Novotny with {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} against Novotny's {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} when the board came {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Barely a few hands later, he eliminated a player (with no ID card - curse you!) having flopped quads. His opponent had reasonably shoved with {6-Spades}{5-Spades} on a {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board but was drawing dead when Siebroth turned over {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The {J-Diamonds} turn and {J-Spades} river made no difference.

Siebroth is still chip leader.

Sameeian Busted

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ahmad Sameeian was all in for his last 30,000 preflop and Theodoros Aidonopoulos had made the call.

Sameeian: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Aidonopoulos: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board came {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Aidonpoulos turned a straight to knock out the Iranian player. Petr Subik and Tim Eulenbach have also been eliminated.
