$235 Thursday Thrilla -- Black Chip Bounty
Day 1 Started
Welcome back to the Peppermill Resort Hotel and the 2016 Run It Up Reno festival hosted by Jason Somerville for Event 5: $235 Thursday Thrilla - Black Chip Bounty!
"'Cause this is thriller, thriller night. And no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike"
Today sees a return to a more standard poker tournament with the Thursday Thrilla taking center stage on the schedule. Each player will have a $100 bounty on their head, and if you are able to eliminate someone you will receive a $100 on top of whatever you may cash for.
Last year saw a slightly cheaper version of the event run, and it would be Robert Fein capturing the title for $2,505 while the likes of Alex Huot, Kevin O'Donnell, Brent Harrington, and Alex Lavinthal all captured their own piece of the $19,000 prizepool.
Action is set to kick off at 2:00 p.m. PDT with PokerNews providing continuous live updates until the Thursday Thrilla Champion is crowned!

Last year Aguilera topped a 318-player field to capture the $42,830 first prize and his first recorded live cash. A very impressive way to kick off your poker career!
