Day 1a of The RunGood Poker Series $1,100 Main Event at Seminole Coconut Creek Casino sees 48 players advance to Day 2 out of the 171 entries.

At the top of the chip counts is Matt Lambrecht with 362,000. Lambrecht became the chip leader around Level 9 after winning a massive pot in which he rivered a flush against two pair and just continued to build as the night progressed. He stands as the only player to have crossed the 300,000 chip threshold.

Following behind him are Ray Henson with 266,500 and Shalom Elharar with 238,500. Both players will be looking to continue amassing chips as the players reconvene on Sunday.

The structure is best stack forward so any player who bagged today will have the option to forfeit their stack today if they find a bigger one the next day.

Some of those who were less fortunate during the day included bracelet winners Phillip Hui and Athanasios Polychronopoulos, as well as Nick Yunis, Jake Schwartz, Jeff Platt, and last year's runner-up Timothy “T.K.” Miles. They will have to enter into Day 1b or 1c to keep their chances in this tournament alive.

PokerNews will be on the floor with all of the updates on this tournament the following starting days as well as its conclusion this Sunday.

Michael Amato: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Miller Restich: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Board ran out {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} with the flop bringing a set of fives to Amato, but the turn was where Restich pulled ahead by hitting a set of his own. Amato tapped the table and left the tournament area

Bronshtein Bluffs For All Of It

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Yuval Bronshtein raised to 5,500 under the-gun and was called by a player in middle position and the big blind.

The flop {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} saw Bronshtein bet 8,000 which was called by the middle position player only and they took a turn heads up.

The turn of {q-Spades} checked through and the river {7-Hearts} saw Bronshtein going all-in for 22,500, sending his opponent into the tank. After thinking about the hand a decent amount, he tossed it into the muck. "Do you wanna see?" asked Bronshtein and the opponent nodded. He turned over {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens as he raked in the pot.
