The turn of {q-Spades} elicited a bet from Abramowitz to the tune of 3,600 which Karn responded to by raising to 10,000. Abramowitz looked at Karn, then back at his hand as he tossed it into the muck, giving Karn the pot.

Greg Spinder

Action was picked up on the turn between a player in the small blind and Greg Spinder on the button, with a board reading {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

The small blind player led the turn for 900 which Spinder quickly called.

On the river {7-Hearts}, the small blind player bet once more and Spinder called again. The small blind turned over {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights which was no good against {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for aces-up and Spinder was rewarded an early pot of the tournament.
