Day 2 of RunGood Checkpoint: The Last Kilometer Million Dollar Main Takes Off at 11 a.m.

Welcome to Day 2 of the RunGood Checkpoint: The Last Kilometer Million Dollar Main Hosted here at the always beautiful Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California.

477 players fired their shot in this $2,500 buy-in event, but only 124 now remain to continue the fight on Day 2, and the money still hasn't even been hit yet.

The players generated a prize pool of $1,064,187 with 72 spots being paid and $200,422 is dedicated to the winner and a min-cash of $3,245.

Leading the way this morning will be Paul Sampson of Day 1a who bagged a whopping 563,000 followed by Adam Dunkle with 536,000. Third and fourth in chips is Ravi Udayakumar and Adam Hannula of Day 1b with 411,500 and 406,000, respectively, and rounding out the top five is Phatseluck Yang who bagged 388,000.

Some other big notable names still in the running include last year's winner Brett Murray (41,000) and runner-up Tyler Patterson (28,000), along with Jeff Platt (208,000), GPI Player of the Year Stephen Song (218,000), Michael Loncar (43,500), Ethan Yau (133,000), and Allen Kessler (48,500.

Cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. local time and play will start at level 11 with blinds as 1,500/2,500, with a 2,500 big blind ante. Like Day 1, play will consist of another ten 60-minute levels before bagging up to return on Monday for Day 3.
