Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Rick Block has taken a massive chip lead following the elimination of Jimmy Thomson in 10th place. The two players got it all on the turn of a {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board, Block holding {A-Clubs}{3-Spades} against Thomson's {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The {A-Diamonds} river improved Block to a full house and Thomas made his way to the payout cage.

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to leave Kaemmerlen one spot shy of the final table.

Matthew Sande Eliminated on the Bubble

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On a board of {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, Matthew Sande checked and Randy Pfiefer bet 18,000. Sande fired back with a check-raise to 40,000, which prompted a three-bet from Pfeifer to 89,000 from Pfeifer. Sande moved all-in, and Pfeifer snap-called.

Sande: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Pfeifer: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The turn was disastrous for Sande as Pfeifer had alreadry flopped a straight. The {8-Clubs} completed the board, and Sande was crippled down to 40,000. He was eliminated two hands later, leaving us with 12 players.
