We're crossed the 100-entry mark with 25 more minutes available for registration. More notables have entered the fray here in Level 4, including Randy Pfeifer and Mark Roberts.
Players have 40 more minutes (30-minute level plus the 10-minute break) to register in Event #2. Several players are taking advantage of the late registration, including Rick Block and Alex Rivera, who says he will be re-entering before the end of the level.
We found Andy Spears at the registration line and he told us he was re-entering the event after running into a set. Spears is one of our Players to Watch in this series after winning two major tournaments at the venue in the past year.
Alex Barker has also lost his initial 25,000 stack. All of his chips went to Tom Kroll, who is now wielding a stack of more than 50,000. We'll let you know if Barker elects to re-enter before the end of Level 4.
The 2014 WNY Poker Challenge features 16 events through Sunday, April 6. The flagship tournament is the $1,100 Main Event with $100,000 guaranteed prize pool which kids off Saturday, April 5.
