Day 1c Completed
The 2015 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam continued today with the third of six starting flights in Event #3, a $50 No-Limit Hold'em tournament with a $25,000 guarantee.
This flight drew a total of 125 entries, playing down to just 18 remaining players as Level 15 came to a close. Event #1 winner Rick Block rode through some massive swings to bag big, but it was Nick DiPalma who bagged the chip lead, sitting on some 174,000 after getting a gift from Block to double, then finding aces against ace-king in a massive pot in the last few hands of the flight.
However, Day 1a chip leader Kyle Jeffery still holds the overall lead as the only player over 200,000 in chips.
These 18 survivors will join the 39 from the first two flights Monday to come back and play down to a champion Thursday.
In the meantime, the event continues with the fourth of six starting flights beginning at 6 p.m. local time this evening.
Stay tuned to PokerNews for updates of all the action live from the floor of the poker room at Seneca Niagara.
