Day 1a chip leader Leslie Packer leads the pack of 169 players at the start ofDay 2 of the GGPoker United Kingdom Poker Championship Main Event here in Nottingham at Dusk Till Dawn poker club.

The Welshman has over $77,000 in live tournament earnings and will be hoping to add to that number here at the GGPoker UKPC Main Event. He will face stiff competition as other notables in the field include online Day 1a chip leader Andrew Wilson (3,384,380), Ali Ayub (2,340,000), Waheed Ashraf (2,250,000) and Chris Da Silva (2,035,000), who all bagged over average.

Early in the day all attention will be on the final showdown between Team Firaldo and Team Robin. GGPoker ambassador Lukas Robinson (285,000) is the final member of his team and he will battle Team Firaldo's Gurvinder Shergill (400,000), who also had a below average stack, to see who can win the last longer contest.

The prizepool broke the £500,000 guarantee and generate a total prizepool of £556,780 which includes £95,000 for the champion.

Action will kick off at 12 p.m. local time with blinds being rolled back to 15,000/25,000 with an 25,000 big blind ante. Blinds will be 30-minutes in length with blinds being extended to 40-minutes for the final table. Action will also be live streamed on the Dusk Till Dawn YouTube channel from 7:45 p.m. on a delay.

Ashley Timms raised to 60,000 from early position and was called by Anthony Gardner and Lewis Cowell in the blinds.

Action checked through on the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop.

The turn came the {2-Clubs} and Gardner led for 105,000. Only Cowell called.

The {9-Diamonds} was the river and Gardner bet 275,000. Cowell folded saying "Your sevens are good, I only had a flush draw" as the chips went to Gardner.

The {5-Diamonds} was the turn and Licollari bet 150,000 which produced a quick fold from McKinlay.
