Schmitt Takes Three-Way Pot

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players checked on a flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The turn came the {5-Diamonds}. Janice O'Brien bet 5,000, Joel Schmitt raised to 12,000. Jeffrey Fielder called the raised and O'Brien released her cards to exit the hand.

The river came the {a-Diamonds}. Both players checked it. Fielder showed the {6-}{6-} which was no good as Schmitt had the {k-}{7-} for trips and won the pot.

Shriki Makes Flush to Bust Opponent

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Shlomi Shriki opened to 2,400 from the hijack. Fausto Saucedo quickly moved all in for his remaining chips, about 8,000.

Shriki called the shove with his {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and saw he was up against the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} of Saucedo.

The flop brought a huge draw for Shriki with the {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs} putting Saucedo in great danger of being busted. The {2-Hearts} turn sealed his fate and Shriki collected the pot with his made flush.

Macaraeg Holds With Rockets

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The flop read {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Winston Djonli moved all in and was called by Tad Macaraeg. Djonli was looking to hit his {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} draw to crack the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Macaraeg.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river rubbed salt in the wound as the {a-Clubs} came off to give Macaraeg superfluous trips and bust Djonli.

Cramer On the Right Side of a Massive Cooler

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dudley Miller was walking away from the table while John Cramer was collecting a massive pot that had just played out. About 140,000 was in the pot and both players' hands were exposed.

Cramer had the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Miller had the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for the ultimate cooler preflop. The board ran out {q-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Cramer's aces held up to scoop the enormous pot and send Miller to the rail.

The table reported that Miller said, "I bet you have aces," but he couldn't get away from the kings.

Clancy thought for a while before going all in himself for 60,000. The cutoff and small blind quickly got out of the way and left Clancy and Lujan heads up for the pot.

Lujan showed {q-Spades}{2-Spades} while Clancy held {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The board ran out {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Clancy's pocket eights held up and Lujan was felted.

Garosshen Wins Flip

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kevin Garosshen was all in preflop and was at risk, barely covered by his opponent who had the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} while Garosshen had the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The board would stay clean for Garosshen as it ran out {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades} as he doubled to get back above starting stack.
