With nine levels through, the players are off on a 10-minute break. When they return, the registration and re-entry period will officially close.
Current MSPT Player of the Year leader Mark Hodge has just under 27,000 in chips.
It's not much to speak of, but this represents a high water mark for him, now on his fourth and final bullet here at Canterbury.
"I'm excited because this is the first time I've been above the starting stack in four bullets here," he said.
It's also around the same amount of chips that Hodge held when he went on a massive heater last month at MSPT Meskwaki, becoming the first player past the one-million chip mark and moving on to a final table appearance in Iowa.

One-time MSPT champ and six-time final table participant Jeremy Dresch just jumped into the lead here after a massive three-way all in pot.
Facing an 8,000-chip bet into a 12,000-chip pot on a flop, Peixin Liu pushed all in for close to 15,000. Dresch jammed his 31,000 in behind and the original raiser called it off with just a few thousand left behind.

The player on his right had opened to 1,600 and Wazwaz three-bet to 3,600. The riaser called and they went heads up to an flop. Both players checked to the turn and the raiser tapped the table again.
Wazwaz led for 3,000, but his opponent would not be swayed and made the call. Finally, after another check on the river, Wazwaz bet 25,000.
His opponent called and Wazwaz turned over , playing the wheel on board. They chopped the pot when Wazwaz' opponent showed .
"Nice catch lucky," said Wazwaz, although it was unclear who the comment was directed towards.

Following up on his deep run at MSPT Meskwaki last month, James Wilson is stacked again and loaded for bear here in Minnesota.
He three-bet aces and got the call from one opponent. They checked a king-high flop, but Wilson led 5,000 and got called on a blank turn. The river came a second king and Wilson called off when his opponent shoved queens.
A little later he crested the 70,000-chip mark with a 3,000-chip three bet and a 4,500-chip c-bet heads up on a flop.
