Byrnes Goes for Max Pressure

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action began on the flop of a three-way pot. The board showed {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

The small blind checked before Pao Lee bet 5,500 from middle position. Bill Byrnes made the call in late position. Over to the small blind, he put in a small blind to 12,200. Lee folded, but Byrnes started to think. After about 45 seconds, he moved all in for about 60,000.

The small blind now went into the tank. "These any good?" as he flashed {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

"Yup," said Byrnes.

After some thought, the small blind folded. Byrnes said that he had ace-five.

"No one is ever honest when I ask them that, that's what got me," said the small blind.
