Mingus Spikes a Three-Outer

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Dan Mingus was on the button and got his stack of 168,000 in the middle preflop against Dan Bekavac in the big blind. Mingus found himself in a dominant position and needing some help in order to stay alive.

Dan Mingus: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Dan Bekavac: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} left Bekavac in the lead thus far. The {10-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing but it was the {7-Hearts} on the river that gave Mingus a pair of sevens and a double up.
