There's an impromptu 20-minute break for the players to be able to watch the 3D light show outside PokerStars organized to celebrate their 10 year anniversary on the Isle of Man.
Stephen Clarricoats raised to 2,100 from early position and was called by Edward Quinn in the hijack and Simon Trumper in the big blind. Trumper checked the arrival of the flop, Clarricoats also checked and Quinn bet 3,000. Only Trumper called so it was heads-up to the turn.
Trumper bet 7,000 and Quinn called. The river brought the into play, putting a Broadway straight onto the board. Trumper smiled before moving all-in and Quinn called, turning over for a straight and Trumper the for the same straight.
Suil Moti's tournament is over, for now, after he crashed out at the hands of Ted Spivak.
Moti's chips went into the middle while holding on a flop, with Spivak calling the shove with . Moti took an unexpected lead on the turn, it improving him to two pair.
"Deuce!" said Spivak.
While the river was not a deuce, the paired the board and gifted Spivak the best hand. Moti can re-enter on Friday's Day 1b should he wish to take another bite of the UKIPT Isle of Man's cherry.
Adrian Filiczkowski is the top dog and the man to beat at the moment, with a stack of well over 200,000. He doesn't have his stack in twenties so it's kind of hard to estimate, but we'll go with a count of around 230,000.
One of our colleagues told us about a hand he played against Marc Hunter. With the pot already containing around 35,000 in chips and the board displaying , Filiczkowski moved in to put the pressure on Hunter. Hunter, with about 40,000 left at this point, called with after some tanking. Filiczkowski showed and received the monster pot.

Jacob Hicklin opened for 1,600 and received calls from Ted Spivack in the hijack, the player in the cutoff, and David Lappin in the big blind.
The flop came and Lappin checked to Hicklin. Hicklin double checked his cards, and then bet 2,100. Ted Spivack raised it up to 4,600 and action quickly folded back to Hicklin. He moved in for 13,400 total and Spivack called.
Ted Spivack:
Jacob Hicklin:
"I'll take a nine" Hicklin said, but he got something better: .
"Three ball" Spivack said with a hopeful voice.
The river wasn't obliging him and he had to pay Hicklin his money.

Ted Spivak was first to act from his seat in the hijack and he made it 1,700 to play, a bet that only David Lappin called from the big blind. Lappin went on to check-call a 1,600 bet on the flop then check the turn. Spivak checked behind on the turn but when Lappin checked the turn, Spivak bet 3,100 and won the pot.
According to Dara O'Kearney's Twitter feed, Lappin has since eliminated Miss Finland, Sara Chafak, and is now claiming that in doing so has himself become the new Miss Finland!
