Polito Chasing WPT National Title Number Three

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Play is set to continue until 5 a.m. again here tonight with the Day 2b players chasing runaway chip leader Laurent Polito, who bagged up 806,000 in chips on Day 2a. That makes Polito the clear favorite going forward, but while he may feel good right now, there's still a lot of poker to be played.

Once play has concluded for Day 2b, a short recap and end-of-day chips counts will be posted before action resumes on the penultimate day, Day 3.

The prize pool and payout information has been announced for this event, and the top 81 finishers will receive a payout. The top prize will see one fortunate player earn €140,000 and the title of World Poker Tour National Paris champion.

The money bubble will be reached tomorrow, on Day 3, when the card will be in the air at 4 p.m. local time.
