Hagenbeuk's Kings Dent Boeken's Stack

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Noah Boeken has been quite active in the early goings today, but we just saw him lose a decent-sized pot to Bastian Hagenbeuk.

Boeken raised preflop to 300 and Hagenbeuk three-bet from the button to 1,000. Both blinds folded and Boeken called, after which the flop brought out {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

Boeken check-called 900 on the flop and lead out for 2,000 on the turn when the {5-Diamonds} popped up. Hagenbeuk made the call and on the river the {9-Hearts} completed the board.

This time Boeken bet 4,500 and quickly Hagenbeuk tossed in the call. Boeken tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, but that was no good against Hagenbeuk's {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

€6,000 High Roller: Push or Fold

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jack Salter and Jason Wheeler are back from their rather long break.

After just a couple hands, Salter dropped down to 775,000 (almost 16 big blinds). Since the break, Salter was seen shoving over a open twice. Wheeler hasn't put Salter at risk, both times he opted to fold before the flop and not take the chance.

Nitsche, Berger and Davies Spotted

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The makeup of today's field is currently about half locals and half top pros, as we just spotted three more top pros.

Scott Davies has the biggest score of them all, as the American took down the World Series of Poker APAC Main Event for A$850,136 back in October 2014. Davies also has a fourth-place finish in the $10,000 Heads Up Championship at the WSOP, and a third-place finish in the ANZPT Perth Main Event.

Dominik Nitsche might be the most well known of these three, as the German pro has two WSOP titles under his belt, a WPT title and a LAPT title. In total Nitsche has $4.2 million in career earnings.

Last but not least we also spotted Seth Berger, who has a second and third place finish at the WSOP. In total Berger has $823,012 in live tournament earnings.

€6,000 High Roller: Jason Wheeler Wins the WPT Amsterdam High Roller (€125,000)

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante
Jason Wheeler and Bryn Kenney

It wasn't a long Day 3, and not a lot of hands were played, but Jason Wheeler pretty much won all of them. In the last hand, Jack Salter was down to 545,000 and he open-shoved from the button. Wheeler made the call.

Jason Wheeler: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Jack Salter: {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Wheeler's good friend Bryn Kenney leaned over, and Wheeler announced what the situation was. "Threes against king-seven," he said.

Wheeler made a small fist pump when the flop was spread {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, but he wasn't out of the woods just yet.

"A four would be a fun card" Salter said.

The {Q-Diamonds} hit the turn and Salter already put down his head a little. The {8-Clubs} on the river was a blank, and Wheeler and Salter shook hands.

Salter congratulated Wheeler, with the latter elated to finally win in Holland.

"Finally get that trophy in Amsterdam!" he exclaimed.

Wheeler took home €125,000, and Salter got €90,000 for his runner-up finish. Wheeler told the tournament organization he plans on entering the Main Event later today, but first he's going to hang out with Kenney on this beautiful day in the city.

Mizrachi Misses

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

We just picked up the action when the board showed {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts} on which Carlos Lopes da Silva checked to Michael Mizrachi who bet 1,500. Lopes da Silva check-raised to 4,050 and Mizrachi called.

On the river the {5-Diamonds} popped up and Lopes da Silva checked to Mizrachi who flicked out a black 5,000 chip.

Lopes da Silva tanked for a while, and Mizrachi said, "Can I re-enter today?"

The dealer confirmed that he could re-enter, and Lopes da Silva tanked some more.

"Till what time?" Mizrachi asked, and the dealer said that he could re-enter all day.

Mizrachi seemed pleased, but that quickly changed when his opponent called. Mizrachi showed {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a busted flush draw, and Lopes da Silva won the pot with {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a straight.
