The field is already a bit bigger than yesterday's 115, so the organization has decided to do things a little different today concerning the dinner break. Instead of a 60-minute break for the entire field after level 6, now the tournament will break in two sessions. The players on tables 29 till 34 will have a break of 60 minutes after level 5, players on all other tables will have a dinner break after level 4.
The €6,000 High Roller here at the World Poker Tour Amsterdam is down to 2 players. It was supposed to be a 2-day tournament, but the field was so big they needed another day. They returned with 3 players today, but now its heads up as Fatih Aydin made his exit (3rd for €66.666). Aydin hopped over to the Main Event. As we walked past a table, there was a discussion going on because one player had only one card, but the hand was already well underway. The ruling was that it was not a miss deal because the player should have paid attention himself, and in the end he just folded his single card.
When we returned to the table a little bit later, another interesting situation occurred. On a board of the player in the big blind had a bet of 4,000 in front of him. Doug Lee had raised to 21,500 and the big blind was in the tank.
After some minutes, the big blind open folded his . Doug Lee raked in the chips and showed the .

Doug Lee, with $1,904,028 in total live earnings, has just six cashes outside of the United States, and just a single one is from a tournament in Europe. We hadn't seen him in The Netherlands before, but here he is! Lee shares the table with Noah Boeken, the Dutch EPT and MCOP champion that busted yesterday when his set of fives ran into a set of aces.
As if Lee didn't bring star power enough to the field today, none other than Marcel Lüske just sat down. Lüske is the all time money leader in The Netherlands with $4,416,387 in live tournament earnings.
