Huge Pot For Local Player Kosmadhis
One of the largest pots of the tournament so far has just gone down over on Table 6 that has seen Cyprus' own Iraklis Kosmadhis catapulted to the top of the chip counts.
The chips went flying in on a board reading and there were two players, Auteri Vicenzo and Elias Abou Saleh all-in and at risk of elimination and still two players left to act! Kosmadahis called all-in and when Yakup Elyakim folded the cards were revealed.
Vicenzo: for top pair king-kicker
Abou Saleh: for top pair top kicker
Kosmadahis: for a flush draw.
The on the turn kept Abou Saleh ahead but the on the river improved Kosmadahis to a hand winning flush and as he covered both all-in players he won himself a monster pot.
Vicenzo left the table as quiet as a mouse but Abou Saleh slammed his identification tag down on the felt and stormed off out of the tournament area.
