Nicolas Chouity just put his tournament life on the line after seeing an opening raise and a call in front of him. The former EPT Grand Final champion squeezed all-in for 17,800 in total and neither of his opponents wants to tangle with him.
Shortly after eliminating Mihail Erstenyuk, Chino Rheem has added even more to his stack and he is rapidly approaching to 200,000 chip barrier.
This latest hand involved Chistakis Christoforio, who is now on the sidelines. Christoforio opened on the button for an amount we did not see but we saw Rheem's three-bet to 6,000. We also saw Christoforio four-bet to 14,900 and Rheem dwell on what he should do. Rheem decided to call and see a flop.
The flop fell and Rheem checked to his sole opponent, who wasted little time in betting 25,000. Rheem made the call. The turn was the and Rheem checked once again and then instantly called as Christoforio moved all-in. When the hands were revealed it was easy to see why.
Christoforio:
Rheem:
Top set for Rheem meant Chrisoforio was drawing very thinly indeed. The was not one of his two outs and he donated his stack to the seemingly unstoppable Rheem.
Chino Rheem is up to 140,000 after a nice spot of luck. His hit the flop much better than Mihail Erstenyuk's when the board came and he avoided the straightening and setting cards to boost his stack to amongst the leaders.
Well, this was a sizeable pot...
There was an open to 2,200 with two callers before Karapet Danielyan made it 6,400 from middle position. Martin Finger then cold four bet to 13,600 behind him on the button, only for Talgat to cold five all in for 14,700.
It was passed back around to Danielyan who moved all in himself for 34,600 and the onus was once again on Finger, who, having done the maths, sighed and called.
Talgat:
Danielyan:
Finger:
The board came and Talgat more than tripled up to about 55,000. Danielyan won a 40,000 chip side pot against Finger while the German dropped to about 45,000 himself and was slightly disgruntled about it.
