Matt Stout Eliminated in 9th Place ($19,731)

Matt Stout - 9th Place
Matt Stout - 9th Place
From early position, Steve O'Dwyer raised to 30,000 and then Brock Parker called from the next seat over. Action then folded to Matt Stout in the cutoff seat and he moved all in for 338,000. The players still to act folded and then O'Dwyer folded as well. Parker made the call and tabled the {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Stout held the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Parker's jacks stayed in front. The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Stout asked Parker if he wanted a set. "You want a set? Give him a set," he said, knowing it would give Stout a straight.

The river completed the board and completed Stout's tournament with the {3-Diamonds}. He was eliminated in 9th place and took home just under $20,000. Parker is now the chip leader with nearly 800,000 strong.
