Jason Young's Series of Unfortunate Events

Jason Young - Eliminated
Jason Young - Eliminated
Shortly after doubling up, Jason Young gave some chips back. Evan McNiff raised, and Pogos Simityan moved all in for about 7,000. Jason Young made the call from the big blind, which was enough incentive for McNiff to duck out.

Young tabled {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades}, but he had run into Simityan's {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. The board ran {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {2-Spades}, and Jason Young doubled up his man, leaving himself with just 1,150 chips.

The next hand, Young folded from the small blind.

The following hand, Young moved all in for 750 from the button, and both blinds called. With the two live players checking it down, the dealer ran a board of {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. The two blinds mumbled that they had no piece of that, and Young turned over the winning {Q-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}, tripling back up to 2,650.

On the next hand, Young looked down at {A-?} {A-?} and moved all in. He was called by two players, and they went to a flop of {J-?} {9-?} {10-?}. Evan McNiff moved all in, and the table yielded to him, allowing him to duke it out with the at-risk Young. McNiff turned over {Q-?} {6-?}, still on the draw. The turn brought him some outs with a {6-?}. To Young's chagrin, a {K-?} peeled off on the river, making McNiff a straight and sending the gregarious Jason Young to the exit.
