Waite Pounces

Level 17 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On the flop of {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Rich Nunzio checked to Clifford Waite. He bet 15,000 and then Michael Chow raised to 34,500. Nunzio moved all in for about 100,000 and Nunzio called all in for 75,000 quickly. Chow got out of the way.

Nunzio tabled the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, but was behind the {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for Waite as he had flopped two pair.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and the river the {7-Spades}. Both failed to improve Nunzio's hand and he was eliminated from the tournament.
