Patitz Shoves 300k into 50k on Flop

We're unsure of what happened preflop, but there about about 50,000 chips in the middle on the flop of {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} between Leroy Patitz and Donna Jetter, the last woman standing. Patitz announced that he was all in. This is fine and all, but Patitz had Jetter covered and she still had 300,000 chips left in her stack, meaning he was shoving 300,000 into a pot of 50,000. That caught our attention and we stuck around for a couple minutes while Jetter tanked. She eventually gave it up, although claiming that everything in her body said call.

Mantua Doubles Through Molloy

Ned Mantua
Ned Mantua

Ned Mantua got all of his 170,000 in chips left in his stack all in on the flop of {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} holding the {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for top two pair. Arthur Molloy held the {K-}{Q-} and would need some help on the turn or river to eliminate Mantua.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {5-Clubs} to keep Manuta in front and double him up to about 375,000. Molloy dropped back to 560,000.

John Miner Eliminated in 18th Place ($4,456)

John Miner - 18th Place
John Miner - 18th Place

John Miner's opening raise was 60,000 from early position, and that left him pretty much committed to the pot when John McNeilly reraised all in for 174,000. Miner didn't like it, but he called with a similar-sized stack and a chance at the knockout.

Showdown
Miner: {6-Spades} {6-Hearts}
McNeilly: {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}

Miner was all around it, but he could not find a six as the board ran {Q-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}. With that, McNeilly has found his double up, all the way back over 350,000 to leave Miner with just 17,000 after paying off his debt.

On the next hand, he was all in for the 16,000 he had in front of him, and big blind Drew Caseri made the call with the lowly {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds}. McNeilly's {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} was ahead, but the board came {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {3-Spades} {A-Spades} to seal his 18th-place exit.

Mongkoluaaree Gets More Chips

Joseph Mongkoluaaree leading
Joseph Mongkoluaaree leading

Joseph Mongkoluaaree raised to 23,000 to start things off. Steve Brown three-bet him to 58,000. Everyone folded back around to Mongkoluaaree and he made the call.

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Mongkoluaaree checked. Brown thought for a bit and played with his chips. It looked as those he was counting out a bet amount, but then simply tapped the table for a check.

The turn card was he {9-Hearts} and Mongkoluaaree checked. Brown fired 64,000 after some deliberation. Mongkoluaaree made the call.

The {A-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Mongkoluaaree checked. Brown checked behind.

Mongkoluaaree showed the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} for a pair of kings and Brown tabled the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} to show that he had the best hand to start. Mongkoluaaree won the pot and moved himself up to 740,000 in chips. Brown dropped to 170,000.
