It's almost that time again. Twelve o'clock is approaching and that marks the start of Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Main Event here at Harvey's Lake Tahoe. Yesterday's first day of play saw 246 entrants come out for the big one and when it was all said and done, only 51 of them were left standing.
Leading those 51 remaining is Dan Black from Cloverdale, California. Black amassed a ton of chips on Day 1. He gathered up over 16 times what he started with, finishing out the day with 329,500 in chips. Only one other player is over 300,000 and that's Steve Brown with 305,400. Behind him is John Miner who bagged up 283,900. Those three are the only three players to build to over 200,000.
The money line is set at 27 players and the bubble should burst within the first few levels of today, which have been increased to 60 minutes from yesterday's 40-minute levels.
Play kicks off at 12:00 PM PST and will go into a final table is reached. Stick around for the action right here on PokerNews.

After some brief announcements, the cards are in the air for Day 2!
On the flop of , Steve Brown and Erkut Yilmaz checked to Jerry Sauers. Sauers bet 5,000 and only Yilmaz made the call to see the fall on the turn. Yilmaz led the turn with a bet of 11,900. Sauers raised to 25,900 and won the pot.
Yilmaz was knocked back to 90,000 while Sauers improved to 105,000.
Dan Black opened with a raise from the cutoff seat to 16,500. That's a pretty big raise for starting Day 2 at 1,200/2,400. John Miner was in the small blind and reraised to 56,000, another big amount of chips put into the middle. Action folded back to Black and he also gave it up. Miner showed the .
Biagio Cavallini was all in against Shirley Chou. Cavallini held the , but was behind the for Chou.
The board ran out and Cavallini was eliminated.
Jeff Bond, Gary Isaacson, Antonio Gutierrez, and Russel Boyker have all hit the rail here in the first level of play.
Stanley Quinn just doubled up with a set of eights on the board of versus Steve Brown. We're unsure of when the money went in, but it was for a good amount of chips. Brown was knocked back to 210,000 while Quinn doubled to 130,000.
