Marc Levy Eliminated in 14th Place ($12,867)

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Marc Levy - 14th place
Marc Levy - 14th place

In the hijack, Mike Morton raised to 67,000 to open the pot. Next door, Marc Levy had about 450,000 chips left when he moved all in on a three-bet shove. But the action wasn't done yet. On the button, John Riordan called Levy's shove, and Morton got the message as he quickly released his cards into the muck.

Levy probably knew his {7-Spades} {7-Clubs} was in trouble, and indeed, Riordan had the goods as he turned over {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}.

Board: {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {3-Clubs}

That does nothing for Levy's underpair, and he has been sent to the cashier to collect 14th-place money.

Riordan is pretty much crushing, and he's climbed up over 3 million chips with that knockout.

MacDonald Doing Work

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Mike Minetti opened to 85,000 from early position, and Dave MacDonald gave him action, coming along with the call in position.

Heads up, the flop came {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}, and Minetti continued out with 110,000 chips. MacDonald made the call, and he called another 200,000 following the {A-Clubs} turn. Both men checked the {J-Diamonds} river.

MacDonald showed his {A-Hearts} {2-Hearts} first, and his three pair was the best hand. Minetti mucked his way down to 430,000, and MacDonald has pushed his stack all the way up to 1.5 million.

Where's Waldo? Mike Minetti Eliminated in 13th Place ($12,867)

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Mike Minetti - 13th place
Mike Minetti - 13th place

First into the pot from the cutoff seat, Mike Minetti shoved all in for his last 330,000. It may have gotten through if Dave MacDonald hadn't woken up with {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} in the blinds. MacDonald called, and Minetti was in trouble with {K-Spades} {10-Hearts}.

The {7-Spades} {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} flop provided a little bit of life for Minetti, but he was still drawing dead to five outs for his survival. The turn {7-Diamonds} was a miss, and the {4-Spades} river failed to connect with Minetti either. He's been eliminated in 13th place, while MacDonald is on a tear. He had about a half million chips to start the last level, but he now finds himself sitting pretty in second place with 1.96 million.

Morton Salts Away a Double

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Mike Morton
Mike Morton

Under the gun, Jesse Okonczak raised to 85,000, and the table passed around to the button. There, Mike Morton gathered all 649,000 of his chips and shoved them across the imaginary betting line. When the blinds folded, Okonczak tanked and made the call to put Morton at risk.

Showdown
Okonczak: {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds}
Morton: {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds}

Morton was in good shape to double up, and the dealer kept him safe with a board of {3-Spades} {8-Spades} {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {K-Spades}. With his double up, Morton has moved up to 1.388, slightly ahead of Okonczak's 1.235 million now.

Luke Graham Eliminated in 12th Place ($15,810)

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Luke Graham - 12th Place
Luke Graham - 12th Place

Dave MacDonald opened the pot with a raise to 140,000 on the button. From the small blind, Luke Graham shoved for 582,000 total. Jon Brody kicked in his big blind and MacDonald thought it over for about two minutes before calling.

MacDonald: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Graham: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to give Graham the lead with a pair of aces. The {3-Diamonds} turn card gave MacDonald a little hope with a flush draw and on cue, the {4-Diamonds} popped off on the river to give MacDonald a winning flush.

Graham hits the rail in 12th place, while MacDonald is second in chips with about 2.6 million.

Riordan Takes Some From Okonczak

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jesse Okonczak opened to 85,000 from the hijack and John Riordan called from the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both checked. The {8-Clubs} followed on the turn and Riordan checked. Okonczak bet 75,000, but was met with a raise to 250,000 by Riordan. Okonczak called and when the {7-Clubs} river fell, both checked.

Riordan tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, besting Okonczak's {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Riordan: Up to about 3,260,000
Okonczak: Down to roughly 920,000

Brody Doubles Twice Through MacDonald

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jon Brody has been on the short stack for much of Day 3. That isn't the case any longer.

First, MacDonald shoved with the bigger stack and Brody called all in for 349,000 with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, dominating MacDonald's {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The board ran out {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} to secure the double for Brody.

Shortly after that, MacDonald slowplayed the flopped nut flush on an {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds} board. A raising war after the {9-Diamonds} river ensued and MacDonald found himself shipping the chips to Brody again. MacDonald's {K-Spades}{6-Spades} fell to Brody's rivered full house with {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

The bottom line?

Brody: Up to about 1,450,000
MacDonald: Down to roughly 1,470,000

Okonczak's Aces

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

There was about 450,000 chips in the pot when Jesse Okonczak and Austin Buchanan check-checked to the see the {5-Spades} fill out the board. Okonczak checked one last time, and he snap-called Buchanan's 235,000-chip bet.

Okonczak tabled {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}, and Buchanan said, "It's good," as he mucked his cards.

Okonczak moved up to 1.405 million with that pot as someone offered him a compliment with a, "Nice check on the river."

Button Vs. Small Blind

Level 27 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jesse Okonczak opened to 80,000 from the button, and Ryan Lenaghan three-bet to 220,000 from the small blind. When it came back to Okonczak, he announced a reraise to 470,000, and Lenaghan instantly announced an all-in five-bet. It took Okonczak about 30-45 seconds to stack out the raise he's announced before he could consider the decision facing him. It would be another minute or two before he called all in for his tournament life, committing his final 1.28 million to the pot. Cards up, gents:

Okonczak: {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}
Lenaghan: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}

Okonczak stood up to sweat his fate as the dealer ran out the board: {10-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {10-Spades} {10-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}

That's safe and sound for his pocket pair, and the eights have earned him a big double up. We've got him at 2.63 million now, while Lenaghan has been knocked all the way down to 805,000.

"I've gotten in three flips today and lost all three," he lamented.
