Negreanu Gets Miscikowski'd

Level 14 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

David Miscikowski opened to 3,800 from middle position, and he was called by Brian Green (button) and Daniel Negreanu (big blind).

The three men took a {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {7-Clubs} flop, and Negreanu check-called a bet of 5,200 while Green ducked out of the way. Heads up now, the {4-Clubs} turn and went check-check to the {7-Diamonds} river. When Negreanu checked a third time, Miscikowski made a bet of 10,700.

"Why am I scared of a seven now?" Negreanu asked himself. "I checked kinda hoping you'd bet." After just another moment, he talked himself into the call.

"Ace-ten," Miscikowski announced as he tabled {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}.

"That beats eight and ten," Negreanu said, flipping his {8-} {10-} around in his hands. "Such a big flop for me. No club either, though."
