We picked up the action on a board. It was heads up and checked to Miguel Borrero who bet 2,950. His opponent check-raised him to 6,500 and Borrero immediately moved all in. Many words were exchanged back and forth as Borrero and the other player jawed, each trying to out think the other. Borrero had the other player covered so the decision was the opponents tournament life.
Eventually, a few minutes of jabbing went back and forth until finally the decision-maker seemed so frustrated that he announced a call in mid-sentence.

The river was a scare-card , but harmless to Borrero none-the-less. With that pot he busts a player and pushes his stack up to 68,500.

Frank Maggio was able to hit a set of queens against the pocket aces of his opponent and get the money all in on the flop. Maggio had his opponent barely covered at about 20,000 and faded the two-outter to knock him out.

Ron Delollis was under the gun and limped in. Four players behind him followed suit before the small blind called and the big blind checked.
The seven players saw the flop come down . After the players in the blinds checked, Delollis bet 625 and was met with an all in for 3,725. Action folded back around and the call was made.
Delollis:
Opponent:
The turn really made things interesting, giving Delollis flush outs, open-ended strait outs and higher two pair outs with both a queen and a king. The river was one of his many outs and he was able to eliminate a player from his table.

At the start of action Miguel Borrero and Kenny Nguyen were seated at the same table. Borrero announced to us that he was going to be the one to bust Nguyen. Apparently, the pair have a good-natured rivalry that has developed over the years.
Borrero opened from middle position to 525, another player called and Nguyen raised to 2,000 straight from the small blind. Borrero called and the other player got out of the way. The flop fell , Nguyen led out for 2,600 and Borrero called. Both players checked the turn and the fell on the river. Nguyen bet 10,200 and Borrero insta-called asking "You trying to bluff me?"
Borrero tabled and Nguyen was all smiles as he tabled , leaving himself nearly felted. On the very next hand Nguyen put his remaining 1,775 in on the button and Borrero called.

Borrero:
The board ran and Nguyen doubled up to 4,000 with his full house.
We'll be sure to note if Borrero does, in fact, bust Nguyen.
