Josh Brikis spent most of today fighting for a WSOPC ring in the $1,000 Turbo event. The field returned with 14 players and Brikis advanced to heads up. He was deep into his heads up match when we broke for dinner and were sad to find he finished in 2nd place when we returned.
He took a bit of a breather and has just now joined the Main Event.
Chris Klodnicki slipped to 11,000 in the middle of Level 1, and minutes ago he was eliminated from the tournament.
We didn't catch the hand, but we heard a gentleman screaming from across the room, and when we turned to examine the scene we saw Klodnicki grab his bag and exit stage left.

A player limped in late position, and Ari Engel raised to 350 near the button. The action folded to the limper who called, and the dealer fanned . The limper checked, Engel continued for 300, and the limper check-raised to 1,125. Engel three-bet to 2,275, and his opponent mucked.

The cards are in the air for the start of Day 1b. The board shows that 174 players have registered thus far but a large percentage of that number hasn't shown up yet.
So far we've only noticed Chris Tryba, Roland Israel and Jerry Monroe as notable players on their second bullet.
The cards are now in the air for Day1b of the 2012 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event here at Caesars Atlantic City.
