A player first to act threw in 400 chips preflop before the cards were even dealt. Once he had his cards, he found himself three-handed with no option to check or raise. The flop was which drew a bet from the player in position, Sujeet Mehta, worth 600. Only the blind raiser called.
The turn was the and it was checked again to Mehta who moved his opponent all in for his last 2,000 or so chips. The bet was quickly called and the hands revealed.

It looked like the blind raiser was going to get lucky but the river bricked out with the eliminating him from the tournament.

Jeff Madsen's seat is directly facing a picture of himself on the poker room wall. Apparently he is using it for motivation because he has been chipping up nicely all afternoon.
We caught his most recent success on the turn of a board. The pot had already grown to over 10,000 chips and Madsen used his first action to move his opponent all in. While Madsen still had over 36,000 remaining, his opponent had just under 20,000 and was forced to make a decision for his tournament life. Eventually, the player folded and Madsen raked in the pot.
We picked up the action on the river of a board. Dutch Boyd had bet 5,800 into about six or seven thousand. Billirakis mulled over his decision and made the call.
On a board, Jeff Fielder had 7,500 in front of the betting line facing two all-in's behind him. The all in of Peter Desantis was for about 13,500 more and the other about 12,500 more. Eventually he made the call to put the two players at risk.

While the other player in the hand was drawing dead, Fielder needed the board to pair in order to win the pot. The river did exactly that as he is now one of our early chip leaders. Disantis, on the other hand, was stunned.
